New York Auto Show Launches 2020 Poster Campaign
Multi-colored Poster Series Heralds in the Show
Celebrating 120 years of automotive innovation and wonder, the New York International Automobile Show is proud to present a new twist on this year’s poster artwork. For the first time, a series of four posters has been created. The posters are steeped in vibrant colors and textures and provide a nod to the Show’s storied past while shining a light on the future. All of the posters highlight a different interest, from the efficient family sedan to the razor’s edge of performance vehicle technology. Each poster stands on its own and shines with the others. Together, they coexist to commend 120 historic years of the New York International Auto Show—the adventure, the innovation, the performance. And the next big thing.
The poster art is the backbone of a comprehensive media campaign that will be featured on area billboards, television and print ads, subway cars, plus a wide range of social and digital media applications.
About the New York International Auto Show 120 years ago, a group of enthusiasts in Manhattan joined together to showcase automobiles to a growing group of consumers intrigued by the prospect of owning a ‘horseless carriage’ and so began a journey to what is now the New York International Auto Show and the largest area for new vehicles sales in the nation. Today, the Show is where car-buying decisions are made. In 2019, 72% of attendees said they were in the market to buy or lease a vehicle within the next 12 months, and 36% added a brand to their consideration list as a result of their visit to the Show.
